Door-to-door Energy Canvasses
The Energy Alliance is taking a neighborhood-by-neighborhood approach to reducing our region’s energy waste.
In 2010, Energy Alliance volunteers knocked on over 2,000 doors in Mt. Washington, Wyoming, and Covington to talk about the value of home energy improvements.
In addition, the Energy Alliance holds energy efficiency workshops to answer homeowners’ questions and demonstrate the tools used in our energy assessment process. We look forward to visiting more Greater Cincinnati communities in the upcoming year!

Partnerships with Municipalities
The Greater Cincinnati Energy Alliance has partnered with the Forest Park Environmental Awareness Program on a new program that will provide additional incentives for Forest Park residents who make home energy improvements. In addition to the Energy Alliance's 35% incentive on energy improvements, the Forest Park Environmental Awareness Program will contribute an addition 15% toward energy-saving measures for Forest Park homeowners when they participate in the Energy Alliance Home Performance program.

Green Your Home Contest
The 2011 Green Your Home Contest is now complete. Congratulations to Vesta Cox, of Corryville, who was selected as the contest winner, winning up to $7,500 in home energy improvements.
Ms. Cox was selected based on her submitted essay answers, as well as the results of her home energy assessment, which showed great potential for energy savings. Read more about Ms. Cox and the contest in our press release.
